Gluten free and Me: I survived!

Well, I survived the festive season with no hiccups and no ‘glutenings.’

Thanks to the vigilance of everyone around me.

Due to the fact that some manufacturers ‘Lakeland‘ in particular, have realised that people like myself enjoy special treats.

I never expected to receive what I was given, but it was nice to be treated to something out of the ordinary. Presented exactly the same way as the ‘normal’ gift packs would be.

There is still a long way to go, and Coeliac UK have been working hard for us.  In the last 6 years things have improved as the above shows, but we can’t stop, as there are still improvements that can be made.

Being Gluten Free for me, as I am sure you are now aware, is not a lifestyle choice.

As Coeliac Sanctuary points out: Coeliac Disease is an illness, not a fad.

If you would like more mini series like this, then please let me know in the comments, and I’m always open to questions.

Thanks for following me on this little journey through the festive season and some of the difficulties I and others like me have.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
